Monday 10th October 2011 – CONSOL Energy Center. Pittsburgh, PA.
We are shown a video recap of how last week’s TNA RAW ended. The WWE and United States Champion, AJ Styles and Shelton Benjamin, teamed up to take on Big Rob Terry and the number one contender for the WWE Title, Wade Barrett. Things looked bleak for the former Thundercats as Terry savagely beat down Styles, and Barrett worked over Benjamin. However, they were able to turn the tide and looked on course for victory, only for the rest of the World Elite to race to the ring. The match was thrown out as the five World Elitists ascended on Shelton and AJ. Quick reactions from the duo, however, saw Panther and Sheamus accidentally collide with Terry and Barrett, and they escaped up the ramp-way, laughing all the way. Wade Barrett was left red faced as his World Elite let him down once again. Click HERE to catch up fully with last Monday night’s TNA RAW!
The opening credits hit and we pan and zoom into the CONSOL Energy Center. “Welcome to another action-packed edition of Monday Night TNA RAW Live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!” Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler open the show, and reiterate how Wade Barrett cannot be happy after last week, and will be out for blood tonight. “But I’m not sure if that’s AJ Styles blood, or that of his own World Elite!” King adds. They talk about the upcoming KWF Bound For Glory pay-per-view and tell us that what we have in store for tonight will whet the appetite nicely for one of the year’s premier KWF events. “As we all know King, AJ Styles and Shelton Benjamin have been on a hell of a ride in the KWF. They held both the WWE and TNA World Tag Team Titles together on KWF Blogs and as singles competitors we’ve witnessed them grow and go from strength to strength to carry individual KWF Gold.” “Oh I can’t doubt that Michael. I mean I’m the first one to criticize. I always thought that Styles was too small to main event and that that Shelton’s match with HBK a few years back was a one-off. But I’m man enough to admit I was wrong. The two former Thundercats have set the KWF alight, and tonight I’m so excited to see them in action – with two tougher than tough tests before KWF’s Bound For Glory this Sunday.” Michael Cole goes on to announce that Styles and Benjamin will be facing each other’s Bound For Glory opponents tonight; Shelton will face Wade Barrett and in the main event it will be AJ Styles vs. Matt Morgan! Before the fans can settle down after this announcement, the music of one of their favorites, X-Division Champion Amazing Red, hits and he makes his way to the ring.
Amazing Red vs. Shannon Moore
Red and Moore stare one another down as this one gets underway. “Beginning the night the way we so often do, with high octane, 100 mile per hour, total non-stop action!” Cole enthuses. As Moore grabs an early advantage, Cole and King remind us of how Red took the X-Division Belt from Justin Gabriel at KWF’s SummerSlam where he overcame seven other superstars in an outstanding Ultimate-X match, and just last week the TNA RAW Interim General Manager Hulk Hogan announced that his opponent for this Sunday will be none other than Evan ‘Air’ Bourne. Two guys with mutual respect for each other and from the fans, but will the scent of the X-Division Title make it a battle for the ages? In this one, the Prince of Punk is trying to belittle the Champ, gesturing how great he thinks he is to the crowd after every move. He hits a neckbreaker and climbs the turnbuckle, flexing for the fans and getting booed in the process. He just says “Dilligaf!” back to them. King asks “What does ‘Dilligaf’ stand for Michael?” Cole, who clearly knows, asks back “Err, well what do you think King?” “I think it stands for ‘dumb idiots look like gorillas and frogs!’” “Yep, could well be King… anyway, back to the action.” Moore’s over-cockiness has cost him, and he is getting pelted with offence from all angles. Red is giving him a lesson in X-Division wrestling, and is working the fans into a frenzy. He comes off the ropes and nails a hurracanrana, sending his opponent to the outside. He goes to leap on him, but Moore moves. Red adjusts and lands on the apron, before running along it and hitting a dropkick which sends Moore crashing into the barrier. Red rolls Shannon back into the ring and climbs the ropes. He goes for Infra-Red, but Moore rolls out of the way. Red lands on his feet and stays behind Moore. As Shannon turns around, Red hits a standing two-kick enziguiri, before coming off the ropes and hitting the running Red Star Press! 1… 2… 3!
Winner: Amazing Red.
After the match the comms tell of how confident and on-form Red looks. “Evan Bourne’s got his work cut out for him eh King?” “Oh absolutely Michael. I’m no fan of either superstar personally, but I can’t get enough of the X-Division and Red vs. Bourne may steal the show this Sunday at Bound For Glory.”

We head backstage where inevitably Wade Barrett is waiting to give a major lecture to the World Elite. He paces up and down, before addressing Sheamus, Vladimir Kozlov, Panther and Rob Terry. “Last week, was a shambles. In fact most weeks recently have been a shambles. It has come to the point where I can’t even rely on my most trusted men to carry out simple tasks. I mean that was 5-on-2 last week and we were the ones who ended up on our backs. It’s not good enough. This group was tagged, ‘The World Elite’ when Eric Young started the movement on TNA. It transferred to KWF, and got stronger, and stronger. It truly was the ‘Elite’ from around the world, but looking at you all now, I’m not sure this is the ‘Elite’ at all. I’m ashamed. No Titles to speak of, no Diva to run our errands thanks to Panther, Justin Gabriel and The Great Khali exonerated, and now just the five of us. I still believe in this group, but you three…” He points to each of them except Rob Terry. “… need to get back into formation. You’ve each disappointed me in five ways or another in recent times, and if you want to stay in the ‘Elite’, you’re going to have to prove yourselves. My meeting with Sir William Regal at Casino Warfare gave me some brilliant ideas, and once I’m WWE Champion, I will execute those ideas. If you want to be part of them, then step it up!” We come back to the commentary table where Cole and King say they were surprised that Barrett was so lenient. “I thought for sure he was going to hit them all with frying pans or something.” King says. “I think you may be confusing the World Elite for the Three Stooges King.” “Can you blame me!? After all they’ve put Barrett through of late, I’m surprised they even have a second chance.” “Touché King, touché.”
When we come back from the commecial break, the number one contender for the Knockouts Title, Natalya, is being interviewed by Jeremy Borash. She says how humiliating it was last week when The Beautiful People paper bagged her in front of the whole world. “To have those two publicly humiliate me like that was just plain bullying from pathetic Barbie dolls who lack the intelligence to come up with anything that will really get to me. You two bimbo’s had the chance to take me out and you should’ve taken it! This Sunday, at KWF’s Bound For Glory, it’s going to be such a pleasure making Velvet squeal when I lock her into that Sharpshooter. In fact, why wait. Eve Torres and I have got Velvet and Angelina tonight, so maybe these nice fans in Pittsburgh will hear those screams first hand from our esteemed Knockouts Champion.” Eve comes onto the scene and the two concur that Beth Phoenix has also been acting like a bully recently, and that the Beautiful People have been running TNA RAW ragged all year. Eve: “Hulk says that Beth’s banned from ringside for our match tonight, so I’m with you Nattie, let’s go give the Beautiful People a lesson that’s been a long time coming.” JB watches the ladies leave and hands it back to ringside for the voluptuous entrance of the Beautiful People.
Velvet Sky & Angelina Love vs. Natalya Neidhart & Eve Torres
The Beautiful People show a lot of arrogance during their entrance and during the beginning of the match. Eve and Velvet start things off and it doesn’t take long for the Champ to gain the upper hand. She nails Eve with a backbreaker and gets a Two-count, before tagging in Angelina, who puts on a chicken-wing submission move. Eve screams out, but refuses to tap. She is able to break free, but soon gets taken down by a vicious clothesline. Nattie urges the tag, but Eve can’t get across. Angelina and Velvet both taunt Nattie, before Velvet asks for a tag in. Angelina goes to, then changes her mind and decides she wants more of Eve. She lifts her up for a suplex, but Eve drops behind and dropkicks her in the back, sending Love into the turnbuckles. Eve leaps across and makes the tag to Nattie, who comes in and goes straight for Velvet. Sky enters the ring, but gets clobbered down. Neidhart then grabs Angelina and hits a bodyslam, followed by a knee to the head. She attempts the Sharpshooter, but Love kicks free and scampers across to tag in Velvet. Sky didn’t ask for this tag, Love simply slapped her shoulder as she got up from scurrying. Velvet reluctantly gets in and goes to tie up with Natalya, but instead rakes the eyes. She trips Nattie and grabs her legs, signaling for a Sharpshooter of her own. However, she struggles to figure out how to apply it, and can’t wrap her legs round. As she struggles, Nattie grabs her ankle and flips her down, before getting up herself and showing her how it’s done. As the number one contender prophesized, Velvet Sky screams so loud the fans have to cup their ears, and eventually she taps out.
Winners: Natalya Neidhart and Eve Torres.
After the match the music of The Glamazon, Beth Phoenix hits and she comes down to get herself a piece of Eve, but Nattie helps to fend her off, and she and Eve manage to knock Beth to the outside. Meanwhile, the Beautiful People exit arguing. “Velvet Sky just tapped out to the number one contender King.” “Oh Michael, it means nothing. Come Bound For Glory, Velvet will still walk out Knockouts Champion.” “And what about Angelina?” “Angelina?! Well she’s gorgeous Michael, but that wasn’t your question. Anyway, we’ve seen this before from The Beautiful People, they argue sometimes, but so do we. I still work with you to keep this show running and so does Velvet with Angelina.” “Or Angelina with Velvet?”

Backstage again, and The Bucks are being interviewed by JB. They are asked how they felt when The Dudleys granted them a WWE Tag Title shot for Bound For Glory. Max answers “JB, we were honored. Bubba Ray and Devon have achieved so much in this industry, and to have them pick us out of all the guys in the back, not just out of charity, but because they’ve seen something in us that makes them think that we are the future of the Tag Division, well it’s a dream come true.” Jeremy continues “We were hoping that our performances were being noticed, and now we have our reward. We wholeheartedly accept The Dudleys offer for this Sunday, but they should know that as the future of the Tag Division, we’re going all out for the win. We won’t hold anything back out of respect. In fact it would be disrespectful to them and to the discipline of Tag Team wrestling to give any less than 110%.” Slow clapping is heard and Legacy saunter onto the scene. Cody Rhodes grabs the mic from JB and has a moan about how he and Ted DiBiase should be facing The Dudleys at Bound For Glory, as they are the ‘true’ future of the Tag Division. Ted and Cody continue to run their mouths, but The Bucks have none of it. They challenge Legacy to a match right here tonight. After mulling it over, Ted and Cody accept; Bucks vs. Legacy tonight!
The leader of the World Elite Wade Barrett emerges by himself for our next bout, as Cole and King remind us that he instructed the rest of his ‘Elite’ to shape up and concentrate on getting the faction back on track. “Besides, with a WWE Title match coming up on Sunday, he must be super confident of beating Shelton Benjamin.” “He shouldn’t underestimate him King. He did that last week and almost lost as a result.” ♫Ain’t no stoppin’ me now!♫
Wade Barrett vs. Shelton Benjamin
Perhaps the Englishman has underestimated his opponent as The Gold Standard begins the better of the two, hitting Barrett with rights and then showing his amateur wrestling background by getting Wade in an armlock and taking him down to the mat. He has Barrett grounded and the fans applaud the efforts of the US Champion. “It was this perfect mix of technical wrestling along with high risk agility that won Benjamin the Title off of Panther. Shelton will face the aggressive and downright mean Blueprint, Matt Morgan at Bound For Glory.” “Yeah Michael, and he’s gonna need a lot more than he’s shown so far to defeat a monster like Morgan. Matt Morgan’s a former American Gladiator for crying out loud!” Benjamin continues to try and work over Barrett, but the bare-knuckle fighting style of the Brit gets him back into it, with a shot to the ribs, then a boot to the jaw. Barrett takes a moment to gather himself, then looks up at the tron to check his hair is still in perfect place, and then goes to stomp on Benjamin. He picks Shelton up and grabs his arm, before ramming him with short shoulder shots, and then a short clothesline. He mocks Shelton as he goes, wiping the sweat from his brow and flicking it at him. He drops a couple of elbows and then yells at Cole and King to refer to him as the ‘WWE Champion in waiting’. “Looks like Barrett still remembers some of the things his former mentor Chris Jericho taught him way back when.” says Cole. Barrett signals for WasteLand and lifts the limp Shelton up. He lifts him up into a fireman’s carry and shouts just as he goes to slam him down. However, when he does throw him, Benjamin is able to spin round and land on his feet, before hitting a superkick from nowhere on Barrett. He hooks the leg, 1… 2… kickout! The very last split second, and Shelton almost got a huge win. This alarming turn in the match is enough to send Sheamus and Kozlov to the ring. They race down and slide in, before attacking Shelton. The ref shows no hesitation in calling for the bell.
Winner by way of Disqualification: Shelton Benjamin.
The Celtic Warrior and The Moscow Mauler pay no attention and continue to double team the US Champ. However, they soon stop as they realize Wade Barrett has gotten to his feet and doesn’t look too pleased with their intervention. He yells at them, and we can hear he is mad they cost him a momentum gaining victory. “I was about to win, which would have sent a clear message to Styles! But now I’ve got an ‘L’ next to my name in the records! Get out of my sight!” Kozlov looks like he’s about to lose it, not liking being chewed out in public like this, but Sheamus stops him advancing on Barrett. He also stares the leader down somewhat, but the duo exit.
We’re shown a video recap of October 7th’s Impact SmackDown! On last Friday’s show we were treated to some incredible matches. Kane faced Gambit in the Cajun’s home town of New Orleans, there was Divas Tag action featuring Champion Madison Rayne and her challenger at Bound For Glory, Mickie James! Big Show took on CM Punk, and in the main event the TNA World Champion Chris Jericho faced a formidable foe in The Monster Abyss!

Check it out and catch up with a monumental Impact SmackDown show right HERE only at KWF Blogs!
JB is among the audience in the CONSOL Energy Center. “Ladies and gentlemen last week saw controversy in our mixed-tag match, where Kaitlyn teamed up with Panther to take on Maryse, and my guest at this time, he is the self-proclaimed ‘most woo-arrific free agent in wrestling today’, he is Zack Ryder!” Ryder gets quite a large cheer from the audience, familiar with his internet escapades in attempting to win a KWF contract. Borash asks him whether he has heard anything from KWF management this week. “Yeah bro, they called me up on Tuesday morning, they couldn’t wait to talk to me.” “About a contract?” “Nah man, I took one of the towels from the back, they just wanted it cleaned and returned. But now I know they have my number. So now Zack just has to play the waiting game, know what I mean broski?” Ryder goes on to talk about how Maryse mistreated him last week and says that he’s part of ‘the people’. “I deserve my KWF contract, just like my official ‘Broski of the week’, Farook Razak (@farook112) deserves a WWE or TNA writing contract! Woo Woo-Woooo! You know it!” The fans cheer again, as Cole and King agree that Farook is well due his chance to write for the House Shows (WWE and TNA real television programming). “KWF Blogs has tones of fans King and Farook’s doing all he can to make a lifelong dream come true.” “Michael, he puts in a lot of time and effort week after week. He’s a University Graduate, he’s hungry as hell and with KWF, we know he can put on a show. I hope he gets a shot one of these days.”
Legacy vs. The Bucks
Legacy try do a number on The Bucks early on, with Cody getting on mic during the match and saying that Max and Jeremy won’t even make it to Bound For Glory. “You two little punks are trying to steal our spotlight, the spotlight Legacy has brought upon itself after we won the Tag Titles. We deserve them back, and resent the fact that you pipsqueaks are being handed a Title shot that we have worked so hard for ourselves.” King agrees while Cole argues that they got Title shots, then lost the Belts, then lost their rematch. “They’ve had plenty of chances King, now its The Bucks turn.” And that goes for this match as well, as Jeremy beats down Cody after his mic rant. He flies all over the ring, and Rhodes can’t keep up. He nails a dropkick, and climbs the ropes to hit a senton, but Cody kicks out of a pin attempt. The match continues as Ted and Max are soon squaring off, with the Privileged Son getting back on top, elbowing Max to the outside. He and Cody then go to double team Jeremy. But he drops down to the apron and races round the ring. Legacy give chase, until they get round the other side and are greeted by a cross body off the apron from Max. The crowd cheer as Max rolls Ted in the ring. He and Jeremy then perform a perfect ‘Bang For Your Buck!’ and Max hooks the leg for the Three!
Winners: The Bucks.

After the match the fans give a standing ovation to Max and Jeremy, and the comms can’t believe how convincing of a win it was. “That was a fluke!” “Oh it’s no fluke King, the Bucks are the real deal and like the MotorCity Machine Guns, they add X-Division flair to the tag division!” We then hear Bubba and Devon’s music. The Dudley’s come to the ring and shake the Bucks’ hands before telling them “We’ll see you at Bound For Glory!” The Bucks nod back, but the mutual respect is there for all to see. “Bucks v Dudleys for the Tag Titles, this Sunday! I can’t wait!” Cole exclaims.
JB is having a busy night, and we watch as he walks the halls backstage and grabs a word with Panther. “Panther, last week you were forced to compete against a woman you have had familiar relations with in recent months, Maryse. After everything that has gone on, can you tell us what the situation is between you, Maryse, Zack Ryder and Kaitlyn?” Panther looks puzzled. “Who the hell is Zack Ryder?” “Err, the guy you faced last week.” “Oh that woo-woo bloke? I thought his name was Mike, never mind. Look those are small questions from a small interviewer, I’m here to talk about real matters, The World Elite. Now Wade has challenged us to show our worth. It appears my ginger and phonetically challenged colleagues may have blown it earlier, but I won’t. I hope Wade succeeds and beats AJ Styles on Sunday, and if there’s anything I can do to help make that happen, then all the better. The World Elite isn’t just a name, it’s a whole belief system. We are the best the World has to offer, and all you cynics out there can just swivel if you think we’re disbanding or going anywhere, anytime soon.” Cole and King voiceover; “Yeah, you tell’m Panther!” “King I don’t get it, after what happened between Panther and Maryse, I thought the cat was going to walk out of the World Elite?!” “Keep up Michael. Maryse is the one out of the World Elite. Panther can focus now, no trouble from women. I know, I’ve been married like eight times.”
We cut to a scene in the shadows. A figure emerges and steps into the foreground. It’s Randy Orton. “I am!” The same scene sees Shelton Benjamin do the same and also say “I am!” Chris Jericho, Velvet Sky, Mickie James, James Storm, Amazing Red, Booker T, Wade Barrett and numerous other KWF superstars do the same, all saying “I am!” Finally, AJ Styles comes flying out almost performing his flying forearm smash – but he lands on his feet! The camera zooms in on him; “I am!… Bound For Glory!” The words ‘Bound For Glory’ and ‘This Sunday’ in a steel effect slam into the picture. A question mark emerges by the title and we hear the hysterical laughter of Why So Serious leader Jeff ‘The Joker’ Hardy.

“Just six more days to go until one of the biggest events of the wrestling calendar!” “Bound For Glory, oh man, I can’t wait Michael!” “We’re gonna see The Bucks face The Dudleys for the WWE Tag Titles, Shelton Benjamin go up against Matt Morgan for the U.S. Title, Velvet Sky will defend her Knockouts Belt against Natalya, Amazing Red and Evan Bourne may well tear the house down over the X-Division Title, and of course the leader of The World Elite, Wade Barrett, will try and take the WWE Championship from The Phenomenal AJ Styles. And our high-flying Champ is up next in our main event!”
When we come back The Blueprint, Matt Morgan is entering the ring. The fans are booing as we are shown video of Morgan attacking Shelton Benjamin unprovoked a couple of weeks back. “This is how Matt Morgan decided to make a statement when told to do so by Hulk Hogan.” “I don’t think that’s exactly what Hogan had in mind Michael, but Morgan got the job done and got his U.S. Title shot. Haha!” ♫Get ready to fly!♫
Matt Morgan vs. AJ Styles
AJ looks pumped for this, clearly wanting to exact revenge for Morgan’s brutal attack on his buddy Shelton. The match starts with a tie-up. Styles is optimistic, but sure enough Morgan pushes him into the corner without too much trouble. He is forced to let go by the referee, but then hits a sly elbow to the face. He then throws Styles into the other corner. He removes his elbow pads and goes to hit his fast piston-like back elbows, but AJ is able to duck them. When Morgan turns around he gets butted away by Styles, who lifts himself to the middle rope. Morgan gets back over and grabs him, before launching him off the ropes. AJ lands on his feet, so the Blueprint goes for a clothesline. He misses and Styles nails the Pele! He goes for the pin, but gets only Two. “Unbelievable Michael, to hit the Pele on a seven-footer like Matt Morgan, AJ must be awesome at soccer!” AJ lifts Morgan and goes for an Irish Whip, but Morgan holds onto his arm and pulls him in for a knee to the gut. Morgan checks for blood on his mouth from that Pele, and looks as mean as ever down at the WWE Champ. He lifts him up into Sidewalk Slam position, before checking his imaginary wrist-watch and holding him for a good few seconds. “My God, the strength Michael!” He eventually slams him down and covers, getting a long Two. The Blueprint remonstrates with the official as we go to our final commercial break of the evening.
When we return Matt Morgan is still on top, and has AJ in a camel clutch. Styles is in pain, but doesn’t tap. Morgan insists that the referee keep asking him if he quits, and shouting “Come on AJ, quit!” Styles finds an innovative way of breaking free, by biting Morgan’s finger. Morgan cries out in agony, and asks the ref what he’s gonna do about it. The official says he didn’t see any biting, and Morgan is soon blindsided by AJ springboarding off the top rope and hitting a flying forearm smash. The Blueprint is down, so AJ heads to the apron. He’s signaling for the 450-Splash. The crowd cheer as Styles goes for it, but Morgan rolls out of the way. Styles lands awkwardly, and when he gets up, *BAM!* gets floored by a hellacious Carbon Footprint. Morgan covers, 1… 2… foot on the rope! Styles was aware enough to stretch out his leg and get his foot on that bottom rope. Morgan is irate, and pulls Styles into the middle of the ring, and covers again. 1… 2… kick out! Morgan pounds his fists on the canvas and is as red as a strawberry. He picks Styles up and hooks his head, before checking his imaginary watch again. “Uh oh, Hellavator time!” King yells. “Wait, wait! Looket! Styles with an Inside Cradle!” 1… 2… 3!
Winner: The Phenomenal, AJ Styles.
Styles has picked up the win from nowhere, and the fans cheer as one. Morgan looks incensed, and Styles music doesn’t play for long as Morgan exacts his revenge. He smashes AJ with another Carbon Footprint. The fans boo as he picks him up and this time, succeeds in hitting the Hellavator. “What a sore loser.” Cole says. “Sore loser? He’s proving a point. AJ won through an underhanded Inside Cradle. Morgan has every right to be upset.” Morgan is soon joined in the ring by Wade Barrett, who tries to usher him away. Barrett starts stomping away at Styles, getting in as many cheap shots as he can before his big Title challenge this Sunday. Morgan though grabs Barrett and turns him around. He yells at him and points at himself, and then AJ. “I think Morgan is arguing that AJ is his prey, and that Barrett has no business picking the bones.” Cole says. The crowd cheer loud as from nowhere, Shelton Benjamin slides into the ring and starts brawling with Morgan. They roll to the outside as the fans cheer on The Gold Standard. “Shelton Benjamin getting his own back on The Blueprint!” They fight all the way up the ramp and to the back, while Barrett just stays in the ring looking over the lifeless body of AJ Styles. The referee is in and he has the WWE Championship, ready to give it to AJ. Barrett though snatches it off him and raises the Title Belt. “That’s all for this week folks. We hope you’ve had as much fun reading it as we have producing it. Be sure to tune in this Friday for Impact SmackDown, and not that you would, but don’t forget this coming Sunday, October 16th, it’s KWF Bound For Glory! We’ll see you then! Goodnight from Pittsburgh!” “Happy Columbus Day and Happy Canadian ThanksGiving everybody!” We fade out on the image of Wade Barrett, his foot on the chest of the WWE Champion and the Title Belt in his grasp as he raises it over his head.
