KWF Wednesday Night Turmoil: 29th August 2012 – Resch Center. Green Bay, WI.

Isolation! If you could only see, what will come to be YEAH!!!♫ «< click to watch). As the intro video comes to an end, the show begins with the usual Gold dominated pyrotechnic display. The fans in Green Bay are pumped as Good Ol’ JR Jim Ross and William Regal introduce us to the latest edition of KWF Wednesday Night Turmoil. “Welcome everyone to Turmoil. What a show we were treated to last week, as our main event saw KWF Champion Chris Jericho and Big Show defeat number one contender CM Punk and Hardcore Champion Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior and the World’s Largest Athlete battled up the ramp at the end of the night, but the memorable image of the evening was Jericho holding the Title Belt above and unconscious Punk, shouting that he was in fact, Best in the World.” Regal: “And so he should Jim. A couple of fluke wins over Kurt Angle does not make you the Best, being KWF Champion does.” JR tells us that we have a lot to look forward to tonight as we have the Women’s Champion, Madison Rayne in action against Tamina Snuka, and as announced on @kwfblogs Twitter page earlier today, we are also set to see the number one contender’s match for the Intercontinental Title as Randy Orton goes one-on-one with The Pope, D’Angelo Dinero. Before Regal can give his two cents, we hear “Ladies and Gentlemen. Please welcome the only living, breathing, rompin’ stompin’ Funkasaurus in captivity. Mr Brodus Clay!”Funk is on a roll, funk is on a roll. Hey hey yo can somebody call my Mama it’s about to get funky up in here!«< click to listen). JR: “What a funky way to start the show. Here comes Brodus.” Regal: “Good Lord.” Clay makes his crowd pleasing entrance as we get set for some one on one competition to kick off Turmoil.

Brodus Clay vs. R-Truth

Before the bell rings, both competitors are somewhat distracted. Truth is talking tactics with Lil Jimmy, while Brodus is getting funky and throwing down shapes in the other corner of the ring. The referee tries to get order and get the match started, but Clay simply lifts him out of the way and carries on dancing. Truth then joins in, as apparently does Lil Jimmy. JR: “Haha, this is great.” Regal: “Rubbish, this is a waste of time, what are they doing?!” JR: “They’re entertaining William, and the crowd love it.” However, the official’s on s schedule here and he reminds Clay and Truth that they are out here to fight, and he calls for the bell. Both men chuckle to themselves and slap hands in respect before tying up. Clay’s power allows him to get the upper hand in the early going, as JR asks Regal what his problem is. “Isn’t it obvious Jim? At the start of what promises to be a great show, we have to put up with these two clowns. This is wrestling, not the circus.” JR: “Well they’re wrestling now, so just quit your whining and enjoy the match.” Clay has Truth back up in the corner, but he manages to wriggle out and hits Brodus with shots, before coming off the ropes and hitting the Lie Detector. He covers, but Clay throws him off at Two. Truth tries to keep the big man down with kicks to the legs, and he comes off the ropes again, only to be headbutted down. “Sheeya!” yells Clay as he begins to work over Truth. He hits an elbow drop and covers, getting Two. He picks Truth up and throws him into the corner, before running up to squash him, but Truth moves. As Brodus stumbles back into the centre of the ring, Truth kicks him in the gut, setting up for the Scissor Kick. However, as he comes off the ropes, Brodus reacts and picks him up to slam him down with a spinebuster, before coming off the ropes himself and shouting “Sheewa!” as he splashes all the air out of his opponent. He hooks the leg and Three is the inevitable outcome.

Winner: Brodus Clay.

Brodus’ music«< click to listen) hits again as he has his hand raised by the referee. JR: “A big win for the Funkasaurus. Despite William Regal’s protestations, that was a decent contest, and what a funky way to kick things off here in Green Bay.” Clays dancers Cameron and Naomi enter the ring and dance in celebration.

It is now time for our weekly Turmoil recap. On last week’s show, CM Punk and Chris Jericho came face to face to ‘discuss’ the KWF World Title, Eric Young took on Jack Swagger, The Viper made his return to KWF Blogs against Alberto Del Rio, King Dolph and Queen Kaitlyn were in tag action, but The Beautiful People got involved to the dismay of one member of the Royal couple, Panther’s search for Gambit took him to a New York bar, D-Bryan faced Alex Shelley, Edge was visited by The Icon Sting who gave him a stark warning about Why So Serious, and in the main event, Jeri-Show reunited to take on Punk and the Hardcore Champion Sheamus. To catch up, click HERE and Read it all only at KWF Blogs!

We’re in King Dolph’s quarters (his locker room) and see that he is sat on his throne with his crown on his head. To the left of him is a Royally dressed Velvet Sky, ‘Rated R Royal’ that is. She wears a Queen’s crown. Her dress is open chested and shows a heck of a lot of her cleavage. The length of it goes only a centimeter below her derriere. She’s on a second throne to Dolph’s left, feeding him grapes. We see a third throne to his right, for Angelina Love, but at the moment she’s standing before the King and is moaning at Kaitlyn who’s on the floor. Kaitlyn’s in rags and is being treated nastily by her new superiors. Love, also wearing a Queen’s crown and sexy Royal attire, demands that Kaitlyn clean the floor. She bully’s her and even tells Butler Hornswoggle to hold the bucket of water from which Kaitlyn is cleaning. Queen Angelina goes to sit on her throne and she converses with her new fellow Queen, Velvet Sky, and the King. Love, slightly in a Royal voice: “I can’t believe that this is the model of Queen that you saw for yourself my King. Are you now satisfied that us Beautiful ones are by your side? Your new Queens of the KWF.” Dolph smirks as he watches Kaitlyn on her hands and knees. He says: “I gave Kaitlyn everything. She had the opportunity to run the KWF Kingdom with me, but she didn’t respect her crown. She didn’t attend to the King!” Velvet: “We have been attending to you every minute of the day my Lord. And that’s why, in your name, Queen Angelina and I have asked the GM of the KWF to allow one of us Queen’s a chance at Madison Rayne’s Women’s Championship. That Belt belongs with us. It belongs here in the King’s quarters.” King Dolph: “Well, we await a response from Edge. But in the meantime, I want to be entertained.” Velvet takes this as her cue to kiss Dolph on the cheek. We see Angelina cuddle up to him and Velvet gets off her throne to go over to Kaitlyn and Butler Hornswoggle. Kaitlyn’s busy scrubbing the floor, but is distracted by Queen Velvet. Kaitlyn: “What is it? What are you doing?” Velvet shoves her and yells “Shut up!” before grabbing the bucket of water off Hornswoggle and pouring it over his head. The King is certainly amused as he, Angelina and Velvet laugh out loud. Kaitlyn helps Hornswoggle take the bucket off his head. His Butler tuxedo is ruined.

Backstage we’re with Jeremy Borash who’s standing by at this time with KWF’s Hardcore Ambassador, Mick Foley. JB: “Mick, thanks for joining us and I’m pleased I can get this time with you. Since WrestleMania we’ve witnessed the rise of Big Show as a Hardcore superstar, but recently it’s been Sheamus who’s taking all the headlines. What are your thoughts about the current state of the Hardcore Title?” Foley: “Well first of all JB, let me take this moment to say that it’s great to be here in Green Bay, Wisconsin.” *Foley thumbs up*. Mick gets serious and says that neither Sheamus nor Big Show are here on Turmoil tonight: “They beat the heck out of each other at the conclusion of last week’s program and tonight Edge has told both of them to stay at home. In my opinion he’s doing them a favor, because now they can calm down, recover from various bumps and bruises and be at a hundred percent to get it on at Casino Warfare.” JB: “So is this confirmation Mick? Big Show will be getting his rematch against Sheamus for the Hardcore Title on September 16th? KWF’s Casino Warfare pay-per-view?” Foley: “I can confirm that JB and I can’t wait.” JB thanks Mick for his time and Foley says “Have a nice day!” as we head to commercials.

We come back Live and the crowd are on their feet as Randy Orton’s music♫ «< click to listen) hits and the KWF’s Apex Predator slithers his way down to the ring. The comms remind us that Orton was off KWF Blogs since the Great American Bash. Regal: “The man failed KWF Wellness Policy tests and he should have been suspended for longer in my view.” JR: “Naw, I think two months is plenty punishment and I do believe Orton is sincere in apologizing for his actions.” Regal: “When did he apologize exactly?” The comms remind us that part of Orton’s punishment was that his rematch clause versus Christian Cage for the Intercontinental Title was voided because of his suspension. Edge has however given The Viper this upcoming opportunity to become the number one contender. All he has to do is defeat ‘The Pope’ D’Angelo Dinero, a man who was screwed out of a fair shot at the IC Gold, two Sunday’s ago at KWF SummerSlam. ♫Pope’s music♫ «< click to listen) hits and we wait for Dinero’s arrival. However, after the Pope dollars hit the floor, there’s still no emergence of Pope. We wait for a moment and see Ricardo Rodriguez enter the ring. He starts speaking on the mic in his native tongue and we see on the tron that Alberto Del Rio is backstage and he’s beaten down The Pope! Orton asks the ref what’s going on and the comms and the fans can’t believe it. Pope looks to be unconscious. JR: “What the hell? What’s the meaning of this?!” Del Rio straightens out his scarf and Rodriguez then announces him out to the ring. The crowd boo like hell as the comms say that medics are on their way to Pope right now and they’ll try and give us updates as soon as they know anything. Meanwhile, Alberto Del Rio has made his way down to the ring and he seems to be telling the ref that he’s taking Pope’s place in this match. However, we hear Edge’s voice through the arena speakers. He taps the mic and we see a spotlight shine on him as he stands up in his Skybox. “Hey! Yo, Alberto! Man, what a great job you did right there. Taking Pope out from behind, entering in his place and hey, I might as well give you this match and then you could go on to defeat Orton to be the new number one contender for the Intercontinental Title right?” Del Rio eagerly nods, but Edge’s tone completely changes: “I book a match between someone who was screwed at SummerSlam and someone who defeated you last week and you think you’re that special, and that untouchable that you can waltz into this ring, my ring to take Pope’s spot?! Del Rio… you’re suspended! Get outta my ring and take Rodriguez with you!” Del Rio is livid. He yells and paces before Rodriguez goes to him, but Del Rio slaps him down. The Mexican aristocrat storms out of the ring, yelling up toward Edge’s Skybox. The crowd cheer and applaud the GM’s decision. Regal: “This is an outrage!” JR: “What? No way, Edge has done the right thing here. Who does Del Rio think he is, to be rewarded for attacking a man from behind? His actions are cowardice and I tip my hat to Edge.” After Del Rio eventually exits, Edge tells Orton that he will still compete in a number one contenders’ match tonight, but Edge needs some time to find Randy a suitable opponent. Orton is indifferent to what’s happening around him and we go to commercials.

Randy Orton vs. ‘The Pope’ D’Angelo Dinero

When we come back we’re with JR and Regal at the announce table and they take us through what happened before the break and during the commercials. We see that Alberto Del Rio was escorted out of the building by security and the earliest reports on Pope are that Del Rio’s attack badly hurt his shoulder. JR says that it’s a shame because Pope only recently returned to KWF Blogs. We’re told that The Viper Randy Orton will still compete for number one contendership for the Intercontinental Title, but the match has been postponed until later on tonight. JR: “And I’m being told folks, that that match will be our main event.” Regal: “I still think Edge was harsh on Del Rio. I mean, the GM himself was known in his career for taking these kind of opportunities. Remember WWE’s Elimination Chamber, where he beat up Kofi Kingston to take his place in the match? Del Rio was doing the same and he should have been allowed to take Pope’s spot.” JR: “Oh not at all. WWE at that time had no authority figure that could fix the situation. Edge was right on point to get a suspension slapped on Del Rio right away, and he was right to do so. No one should be rewarded for such a cowardly act.” Regal: “An opportunistic act.” Meanwhile, we watch the entrances of Austin Aries and Justin Gabriel respectively and JR says that Edge has thrown together this impromptu X-Division match up.

Austin Aries vs. Justin Gabriel

The bell rings and we are underway as Aries and Gabriel trade move for move in the early going. The crowd love it and the comms take us through some KWF history of both superstars. We’re reminded that Justin Gabriel has had two spells as X-Division Champion and Austin Aries was X-Champion throughout most of the summer until he lost the Title to Jay Lethal at Sovereignty 4. Regal: “Yes, and then Lethal went on to lose the Belt in SummerSlam’s Ultimate-X match. Mister Christopher Daniels won the Gold and I must say, I for one would love to see Daniels versus Aries.” JR: “That would be an amazing match, but we’re not short of these excellent contests here in KWF’s X-Division.” Gabriel has Aries in a front headlock, but Aries counters and turns Gabriel by the arm and yanks the arm so hard that Gabriel lands face first on the canvas. He bounces back up and tries to shake off the pain by the ropes. Aries however quickly hits him with a clothesline and Gabriel tumbles over the top rope all the way to the floor. Gabriel lands awkwardly, but isn’t alert as Aries runs against the far ropes in the ring, comes back at full speed to dive through the ropes and collide with Gabriel at ringside. Gabriel’s back slams into the barricade and Aries taunts toward the audience: “I’m the greatest man that ever lived!” The crowd boo back and we watch as Aries gets Gabriel back into the ring. He covers for One, Two – but Gabriel kicks out. Aries tries to ground and pound now, but Gabriel is resisting and he kicks out of every pin attempt. Aries thinks he has the match in hand and he takes his time as he sets up for the pendulum elbow drop. His pre-move taunts take too long and he drives his elbow toward his opponent, but Gabriel moves and Aries eats canvas. Gabriel gets himself back into the match now and he floors Aries so that he can set up for the 450 splash. Gabriel is hurt from previous though and he takes too much time to climb to the top turnbuckle. Aries uses this moment to recover and he quickly gets over to Gabriel, punches him in the gut, in fact we suspect a low blow, but it matters not as the referee lets it go and Aries lifts Gabriel off the turnbuckle to drill him down with a Starrbuster from the second rope! (His brainbuster, from the second rope) and Wisconsin’s own A-Double is able to get the Three.

Winner: Austin Aries.

Aries demands the referee raise his hand and the crowd applaud the match they’ve just witnessed. Aries too has a pocket of the audience chanting his name as Regal says that even Green Bay cheer for a Milwaukee man. The comms review replays of the questionable low blow from Aries. We see that he did hit ‘below the belt’ when knocking Gabriel off balance from the top turnbuckle, nonetheless, the referee allowed the match to continue and Aries ends up the victor.

When we return from commercial, the music of Kurt Angle«< click to listen) hits. The Olympic Gold Medalist heads to the ring, as JR reminds us that this is Kurt’s first appearance since he lost to CM Punk in a Submission match at SummerSlam. “No doubt he has his excuses prepared.” Angle gets in the ring and he’s handed a microphone. The majority of the crowd boo him, but he says that he’s not here to pick a fight or make any excuses. “All I’m here to do tonight is talk face to face with CM Punk.” Angle asks Punk to come to the ring and he does, much to the adulation of the crowd. Punk is cheered and he mouths the words ‘go ahead’ when getting into the ring. Angle: “A week and a half ago, I took you on at SummerSlam. A week and a half ago, you beat me at SummerSlam. Having already beaten me in a Five falls match at Sovereignty, I wanted to take you on again, and I wanted to make you tap out. As it turned out, I was the one tapping at the end of the night. When I got home that evening, all I wanted to do was… was…” he takes a moment, clearly enraged by it all, as the fans chant ‘You tapped out!’ ‘You tapped out!’ He looks out to them, before smiling. “All I wanted to do was call you up and congratulate you on proving me right.” JR: “What?” Angle: “Despite it all, and I know this will be very hard for you to believe, I knew in my heart of hearts that you were not only capable of beating me, but that you are capable of beating anyone.” The crowd murmur as Punk asks off-mic ‘What are you talking about?’ Angle goes on to explain: “After I got fired by Hogan and Flair last year, I sat at home and watched as this kid from Chicago put on a clinic in wrestling every single show, and while some questioned his proclamation of being the Best in the World, including The UnderTaker, I thought to myself that he was probably right. As an in ring technician, I didn’t think there was anyone who could touch CM Punk at that moment. But after you lost to The Deadman at WrestleMania, all that cockiness, all that confidence that made you that good, was gone. You went on a terrible losing streak and it pained me to see such a talent going to waste. I’ve seen it before in guys who have the ability, but not the belief. So when I came back, my goal was to make CM Punk realize that he is that damn good, which is why I goaded you into a match at Sovereignty. Don’t get me wrong, I sure as hell didn’t let you win, I just wanted you to give it your all and fight with belief. The fact that you won did genuinely piss me off, but at the same time, it made me realize that you are better than even I thought you were. To make sure it wasn’t a one off night, I carried on goading you, and got the Submission match for SummerSlam. Again, I fought to win, but again you just had too much for me on the night. But I saw that fire in your eyes that was extinguished at Mania. And with that fire, there is no doubt in my mind that you Punk, you’re going to beat Chris Jericho at Casino Warfare and put a huge exclamation point on your climb back to the top as Best in the World.” Punk has his eyebrows raised almost the entire time that Angle speaks, and now it’s his turn to talk. “I’ll be honest Kurt, when you called me out, this isn’t exactly what I expected you to be saying. But I like to think I can smell a bullsh*tter from a mile away, and I think you’re being genuine here. We had two incredible matches, and it was an honor to be facing you in them. I don’t want this to turn into ‘I love you more, no I love you more’, but while we’re gushing on compliments I would just like to say that I have always looked up to you Kurt, which is why I was so eager to fight you. Honestly, you didn’t have to goad me at all, you could literally have just asked for a match and I would have accepted on the spot. A chance to tear the house down with Kurt Angle is a dream come true for yours truly. But…” The lights cut out…

Break the Walls Dooowwwnnnn!«< click to listen) plays and the KWF Champion heads out to the ring. “Blah, blah, blah. Please, spare me this little love in. What the hell happened to you Kurt? Out here kissing CM Punk’s ass just because you can’t get the job done any more, it’s painful to watch. What are you, trying to live vicariously through Punk or something? Just because Punk beat some has-been, washed up guy who still lives off something he achieved over sixteen years ago, doesn’t make him good enough to even challenge for my Title, let alone win it. CM Punk is not in my league, and when he finally faces a real challenge at Casino Warfare, he will be in for a world of pain, courtesy of the Walls of Jericho!” Jericho then goes to square up with Punk, but before punk can get a word in, Jericho sprints over to Angle and nails him with a Codebreaker! He immediately slides out of the ring and races up the ramp before Punk can give chase. He laughs to himself as Punk stares him down from the ring. The fans boo as Angle is laid out and Chris Jericho raises his KWF Title at the top of the ramp. JR: “That was totally uncalled for. Kurt Angle came out here to share his respect for CM Punk, and Jericho couldn’t stand that he wasn’t centre of attention.” Regal: “He should be centre of attention. He is the KWF Champion. I can’t believe Kurt Angle’s gone soft on us. Serves him right.” Punk checks on Angle as Jericho exits.

We’re backstage as Edge is talking to Justin Gabriel. “Hard luck tonight Justin, I’m sure you’ll get a W next time.” Daniel Bryan comes over and asks Edge for a word. The GM obliges. “Last week, Christopher Daniels jumped me from behind after my match with Alex Shelley. Now I got cheated out of a spot in the Ultimate-X match at SummerSlam, so I think it’s only fair that I get the next shot at Daniels.” Edge: “Yeah that was pretty low by Daniels, and as I’ve already told you, I appreciate that you were unfortunate not to be involved at SummerSlam, but my hands are tied. I can’t give you a Title shot because Jay Lethal is still due his rematch at Casino Warfare. But I tell you what, no Gold on the line, but how about tonight, you take on Christopher Daniels one-on-one?” Bryan smiles. “Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!” Bryan shouts as he raises his hands and walks off. Edge chuckles.

Madison Rayne’s music♫ «< click to listen) hits and we watch as the KWF Women’s Champion makes her way down to the ring. She removes her Title from her waist as if she was slipping out of a skirt and the (male) crowd appreciate her picturesque entrance. Tamina is next out and we get set for Chick action.

Madison Rayne vs. Tamina

Tamina is cheered by the audience and this irks Madison. She turns toward the crowd and pushes up her chest yelling: “I’m the Champion! Cheer me! Cheer these!” Tamina is unimpressed and the crowd cheer as she runs to clothesline Madison down. JR: “Tamina’s the daughter of Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka and it’s been some time since we’ve seen her here on KWF Blogs. She’s normally aligned with Jimmy and Jey Uso, managing them from ringside similar to how Nattie Neidhart does for the Hart Dynasty.” Regal: “Yes Jim, but let me tell you, I believe that this match shows exactly the course of women’s wrestling in the KWF. I don’t know if it’s by design by Edge, or if this is a match Madison specifically requested, but notice, that since Edge has been in charge we’ve only ever had the prettiest of ladies wrestle in that ring.” JR: “What are you trying to say? Tamina’s a lovely young lady.” Regal: “Sure Jim, but she’s nowhere near as piping hot as Madison or AJ or Mickie James or Melina or any other Chicks of that ilk. Again, I’m not sure who’s totally responsible for putting this contest together, but next to Tamina, Madison looks like a Goddess.” The match had begun with Tamina in charge, but Madison often takes short-cuts and even leaves the ring on occasion to gather herself. Tamina is one of the more powerful Chicks in the KWF and she shows her strength as she administers a superb Samoan Drop on Rayne. Madison looks down for the count, but as Tamina covers, Rayne counters with a crucifix pin and she grabs the bottom rope to lock in the leverage. The referee doesn’t see and Rayne walks away with the win.

Winner: Madison Rayne.

Tamina can’t believe it and Madison has a huge grin on her face. She ‘wears’ her Women’s Championship Belt and waves to the booing fans as she poses in the ring. JR: “For God’s sakes, you’ve won, but you cheated to win, now get outta here wouldya?” Regal: “Be quiet Jim! I’m trying to focus here… (Madison bends over) Yes, magnificent. What a woman.”

Up in Edge’s Skybox we see Layla enter. She walks over to Edge and he asks: “What can I do for you?” Layla: “Didn’t you watch Madison’s match?” Edge: “No, I’ve got a lot on my mind and as Champion, that match was all her. She requested to face Tamina so she got it. Anyway, you’re here because?” Layla: “Well, Edge, I’m here first of all to tell you that the British Invasion’s leader Wade Barrett will be back on KWF Blogs soon. Now we Brits, we don’t do ‘Del Rio’s’ and behave like animals. We come to you; the man in charge, with a pleasant lady; i.e. me, and we kindly ask of you what we want.” Edge nods: “Okay, duly noted.” Layla says that she, Wade and the rest of the British Invasion know that Edge has been having a torrid time with all the talk etc about bringing back Why So Serious. “But there’s one team that haven’t had a chance at those Tag Titles yet Edge. You said you’ve run out of options, but you haven’t. Let our boys do the job. Mason Ryan and Rob Terry, the Welsh Dragons of the British Invasion will lay slay upon those Dudley Boys and you won’t have to call back Why So Serious.” Edge ponders this for the moment and says that the only reason why Mason and Rob haven’t had a chance is because they’re too inconsistent as competitors. “Some weeks they win, then they lose, then they do something stupid and get Disqualified, I don’t know if they’re coming or going.” Layla: “Edge, give us this chance. Wade Barrett is out of his mind right now because the British Invasion has been a flop since his injury. When he comes back, I want him to see that we have some Gold in our organization. Please Edge, you may not have to call back Why So Serious either. It’s a win-win.” Edge nods and tells Layla that he’ll think about her proposal. She thanks him and he too thanks her for the heads up on Wade Barrett’s return.

Christopher Daniels heads out to the ring and boasts about how great he is. On the mic, he says “At SummerSlam, I cemented my legacy as the greatest X-Division competitor of all time. I am a master of the Ultimate-X, and now that I rightfully have my Title over my shoulder, I have proven myself as the master of the X-Division, period.” He talks down Jay Lethal’s Casino Warfare challenge, stating that he will never lose to a man with such an identity crisis, and goes as far as to say that the X-Division Title will never leave his possession, ever. Daniel Bryan’s entrance interrupts and we get set for a match hotly anticipated by the fans in attendance, it’s Bryan vs. Daniels Live on Wednesday Night Turmoil!

Christopher Daniels vs. Daniel Bryan

The match begins tremendously, with both superstars attempting various moves, but it’s reversals galore as they are a real match for one another. Side headlock takedowns get turned around, kicks get ducked and roll-ups turned into more roll-ups. Bryan smiles as they get to their feet at the same time, but Daniels cuts a frustrated figure. The Fallen Angel resorts to a dirty eye gouge to get on top. The fans boo but Daniels shrugs them off as he’s got the upper hand. He hits a running neckbreaker and a reverse STO into the turnbuckles. Bryan hits a high knee off the ropes and sends Daniels to the outside. He comes off the ropes and flies through to land on his opponent as the fans cheer us into commercials.

When we return we see Daniels in trouble in the middle of the ring as Bryan has a side headlock on. He is trying to grab Daniels’ arm to turn it into a LeBell Lock, but the X-Div Champion is able to stop this, and then rolls through to somehow turn the move into a Crossface. Now it’s Bryan in trouble as the fans urge him to get to the ropes. The American Dragon struggles and can’t reach, as Daniels synchs back on the Crossface. Bryan forces the move sideways and it puts Daniels shoulders on the mat, so he is forced to let go. They get to their feet and Bryan swings a kick, but Daniels ducks and flips him round with a Gannosuke clutch into a pinning predicament, but Bryan kicks out. The match goes back and forth in moments as both men try to end it. Daniels goes for the BME, but lands on his feet after Bryan rolls out of the way, then Bryan nails a kick to the head, followed by a bulldog. He tries to administer on the LeBell Lock again, but once more Daniels gets free. He looks out to the crowd and smiles, tapping his temple and suggesting he was too smart to get caught like that, but ironically that moment allows Bryan to grab him from behind and finally lock on his finishing move. Daniels struggles as the volume cranks up. Bryan yells at him to tap and the crowd go wild yelling ‘Tap!’ ‘Tap!’ ‘Tap!’ ‘Tap!’. However, Daniels leans back and rolls Bryan over. The hold is still on, but Bryan’s shoulders are down. Daniels uses his free arm to hold the middle rope, meaning Bryan cannot push the hold back, and the referee counts his shoulders to the mat.

Winner: Christopher Daniels.

After the match Daniels measures to take Bryan out. He is going to nail him with a kick to the temple, but the crows cheer as Jay Lethal sprints down to the ring. Daniels backs out of the other side of the ring and when Lethal offers him a fight there and then, Daniels says that he’s done for the night. JR: “I can’t stand so called Champions like that. Cheat to win and then backing down from a fight? He is far too disrespectful to be carrying that X-Division Title.” Regal talks Daniels up and says that the X-Title picture is as exciting as it’s ever been. “He gets the job done and is a tremendous wrestler. You really have to get over your obsession with respect JR. As I’ve said before, it’s a myth. When it comes to Title Belts, everyone is out to get everyone else.”

We are in the Skybox of Edge. Madison Rayne walks in and he asks her to sit down. “Madison, you’ve been my assistant for a few months now, and it’s been great having you around. Your coffee is incredible, your sandwiches, ditto, and the way you let me lick maple syrup off your…” Madison coughs, Edge looks at the camera. And then looks back at Madison again: “Oh, yeah, anyway, now that you’re KWF Women’s Champion, I wonder if now is the perfect time to, call it a day?” Madison nods. “I can’t say I haven’t enjoyed being by your side boss, but I am indeed the Women’s Champion. As all great women say to the men they once had familiar feelings for, I don’t really need you any more.” Edge smirks, but then goes on to inform Madison that, as Champion, she needs to start thinking of her first challenger. “Obviously it won’t be AJ Lee. She’s out of commission for the foreseeable future thanks to you. But I don’t know if you’d heard, The Beautiful People have asked for a Queen to have a shot at your Belt. Now, they’ve snuck their way into being Queens to Dolph Ziggler – and as much as he’s a douche, he really doesn’t ask for much and so I’ve agreed that the next challenger for your Title will come from the King’s court.” Madison: “What?! A challenge from one of The Beautiful People?! Are you kidding me?!” Edge: “Hold up now, it may not be one of them. I told Dolph that he can choose one of his Queens to challenge you, so Kaitlyn too counts in that equation.” Madison proclaims that it will be a sweet irony for her to defeat one of Angelina or Velvet anyway, and then leaves the Skybox. Edge gets to his feet just as Jeremy Borash knocks at the door. JB: “Edge, could I get a quick reaction from you on what went down between Angle, Punk and Jericho earlier?” Edge invites JB in. He says: “Like everyone else, I cannot wait for Jericho versus Punk at Casino Warfare, and I was as shocked as anyone to hear Kurt say what he did out there. But after what Jericho did, I think it’s only fair that next week, right here on Turmoil, we have a main event of KWF Champion Chris Jericho against Kurt Angle.” JB then asks Edge how the plans for Casino Warfare are shaping up. “Funny you should ask JB. Of course we will have Jay Lethal versus Christopher Daniels for the X-Division Title, as I just told Madison, she will face one of King Dolph’s trophy wenches for the Women’s Title, Punk versus Jericho of course, and we’re going to have a Roulette Wheel on hand to determine the stipulations for some of the matches. A Rated R Roulette if you will. And that’s not all. I’ve confirmed a TNA match type with the KWF Board of Directors, a Feast of Fired match. You’re probably familiar with the concept JB? A number of KWF superstars enter, and there will be four briefcases on poles heightened from each ring-post. Three will contain contracts, one being an Intercontinental Title shot, one will be the number thirty slot at next year’s Royal Rumble, and another will be a guaranteed Title shot for the KWF World Heavyweight Championship. And the fourth briefcase, will have a pink slip in it. Three guys will get lucky, but one man will be fired.” JB reacts excitedly and hands us back to ringside. JR: “Wow, Feast or Fired makes its KWF debut at Casino Warfare. This pay-per-view is shaping up to be one of the biggest ever.” Regal: “And the Roulette Wheel comes into play for the first time in the KWF as well. I can’t wait for that, only the spin of the wheel can determine what match types we have! Casino Warfare’s going to be brilliant!”

A very smartly dressed man is walking along. The camera pans out and we see that he is in a casino. He heads to the roulette table and immediately puts all his money on 11 black. The ball rolls and he awaits the outcome. All of a sudden, he is barged into. He turns around to confront the person responsible. “Hey, watch it you idiot!” The man he has spoken to appears to be none other than KWF Hardcore Champion Sheamus, who looks angrily at him, before picking him up and powerbombing him through the roulette table. Chips fly everywhere as Sheamus tells him “Gamble with your money, not your life fella.” The ball stops on 11 black. Sheamus then congratulates his victim and dumps a load of chips on him. A graphic fills the screen saying ‘KWF Casino Warfare: Sunday 16th September, only at KWF Blogs!’

We come to our weekly segment following Panther on his travels as he looks for his old friend Gambit. After Edge sent him on this quest, he has been to New Orleans, Jacksonville, LA and New York, but after a tip off from an old foe last week, Panther has flown to England where his search for Remy LeBeau and his main squeeze Kelly Kelly continues. Panther: “After a long flight, a journey through to pouring rain, and a fight with a cockney cab driver, I’ve arrived here in London, where I’ve arranged to meet up with a good old mate of mine, you might even recognize him yourself, and if anyone will know where Remy is, it’s him.” He heads into a leisure centre, which states that there is an independent wrestling show on that night. He walks through the back and eventually comes up to a guy dressed out in wrestling attire. He taps him on the shoulder, and when he turns around, we see that it’s former KWF superstar Outlaw. “Hello mate, glad you could make it. We’re about to start but we’ll go for a pint after the show yeah?” Panther agrees, and we then see him take a seat in the back row and watch on as Outlaw takes apart some unknown English wrestler. He hits a Stunner as the crowd goes wild and gets the pin. We then fast forward to Panther and Outlaw in a nearby pub discussing Gambit. Panther: “I’ve been all over the States looking for him, but no luck. I got a tip that he might be over here.” Outlaw: “Well that was a good tip, because he was here just a few days ago.” Panther’s eyes light up. “Really? You saw him?” Outlaw: “Yeah man, he came to a show just like you. We had a chat, albeit briefly. That dude is majorly different to what he was like back in the day. But he ain’t here no more I’m afraid.” Panther: “Damn. Did he say where he was going?” Outlaw: “He seemed a little preoccupied with Kelly, I mean he used to be a player, but that girl’s got him hooked. Anyway, to your question, I do remember him saying something about Texas… San Antonio I think he said.” Panther hangs his head. “So I came all the way here and he’s back in America? If it weren’t for the fact he’s my buddy I’d whup his butt for making me do all this travelling. Anyway, cheers mate.” They clink beers and Panther downs his before heading off. He does one final piece to camera. “Well it wasn’t a total waste of time. Got to catch up with Outlaw and enjoy a good old fashioned indy show, but looks like I’m heading to San Antonio. And knowing who was responsible for training Remy at the start of his wrestling career, I think I know which ‘Kid’ I need to visit next.”

Randy Orton’s making his entrance as we get set for our main event of the evening. The comms meanwhile reflect on Panther’s progress of tracking down Gambit. Regal: “I for one think Layla’s proposal is a no-brainer for Edge. He should give Ryan and Terry World Tag Title shots, why not, it might keep Why So Serious away and if that happens then everyone wins.” JR: “Well William, we’ll have to wait and see as to what Edge decides on that. But I do wonder why Lebeau would be on his way to San Antonio? Panther’s doing a great job I must say. He only just missed Gambit in New York and he’s made contact with former KWF superstar Outlaw in England. The Black Cat’s now on his way to Texas and we’ll catch up with his progress next week.” For the second time tonight Randy Orton is waiting for his opponent. All eyes are toward the stage as finally Music hits♫ «< click to listen) and much to the delight of everybody here in the Resch Center, on his way to the ring is Mr. Anderson! JR: “Anderson’s back! Wow! I did not see this coming William!” Ken Anderson marches down to the ring and steps right in the face of Randy Orton. Orton though does not back down. Regal: “This is amazing Jim, this crowd have blown the roof off this house and look at these two superstars, this is intense!” JR: “Remember William, Mr. Anderson and Randy Orton have never faced off one on one here on KWF Blogs. In fact, the only time they’ve been in the same ring with each other was at KWF WrestleMania’s Money in the Bank match last year. God, what a choice by Edge, and this certainly bolsters the prestige of the Intercontinental Championship. This is amazing!” The tension is high and we watch as Anderson holds up his hand and the microphone lowers down to the ring. Orton has still not moved and Anderson, chewing gum, wearing a hat and KWF Ken Anderson t-shirt says: “You wanna get outta my face?” Orton looks toward the fans who cheer Anderson on. Orton nods very slowly and takes two steps back. Anderson eyeballs him and calls him an “Ass hole” before saying “I’m back! I’m refocused, I’m here to slap the taste out of that venomless Viper’s mouth and I WILL become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Title! Ladies and gentlemen, hobo’s and whores, I haaaiiiil… From GREEN BAY, WISCONSIIINNNNNN…. Mmmmissterrrrrr Annnnndeerrrssooonnnnnn!” Orton tells the ref that this is ridiculous. The ref goes to Anderson to try get the match going, but Ken yells in his face: “Annnnndeerrrssooonnnnnn!” He then steps toward Orton and yells “Annnnndeerrrssooonnnnnn!” The crowd cheer at the top of their lungs, but Randy Orton is not amused. Anderson lets go of his mic and Orton goes for him as the bell rings in an instant.

Randy Orton vs. Mr. Andersonnumber one contenders match for the Intercontinental Title

Orton’s on Anderson right away and we watch as Ken’s cap flies off his head. Anderson’s resilient though and the two fan favorites get into a punch for punch war in the middle of the ring. All hits are cheered for, with Anderson perhaps getting the louder fan approval. The crowd laugh as he pokes a thumb to the eye of Orton before removing his t-shirt and using it as a choking device on the Viper. The ref soon takes the t-shirt away as JR explains: “Ken Anderson is a self-proclaimed a-hole, he doesn’t shy from taking short-cuts and he’s always tough to handle for any opponent.” Regal: “Yes and I suppose you’ll now tell me it’s one rule for some, and another rule for everyone else. Just because the audience cheer for him, doesn’t mean that he’s doing right in the ring JR. The man blatantly cheats.” JR: “I know, and I didn’t say I condone his actions at all. I was simply explaining the man’s character. I’ll tell you this though, if he wins this match, he’ll push Christian Cage to the limit at Casino Warfare. It’ll be an eye for an eye and would be fascinating to see.” Randy Orton however cannot be underestimated and this contest goes on to be an exceptional main event here on Turmoil. Anderson is in control for the moment, putting boots into Orton in the corner. The referee pulls him off, telling him to calm down and allow Orton out the corner. Orton blasts out with a hard clothesline and Anderson goes down. Ken gets up quickly, Orton tries for another clothesline, but Anderson ducks this time. Orton turns round and Ken tries for a jumping roundhouse kick, but Orton evades. Anderson tries for another in a great show of athleticism, but Orton ducks again and goes round the back of Anderson. Anderson turns to run at him, but Orton lifts him to plant him with a scoop powerslam. A textbook Viper move and now Orton is in the ascendency. He stomps on Anderson, the vintage Orton stomp, landing a heavy blow on every limb of his opponent. He slithers over Anderson’s body for a cover, but Two’s all he gets as this match continues.

The crowd watch on and two thirds of them cheer for Anderson and one third of them cheer for Orton. The comms both compliment General Manager Edge on putting this match together on such short notice off the back of the injury to The Pope. Orton continues in control of this match, wearing Anderson down and perhaps Anderson’s ring-rust is a telling factor here. Anderson swings instinctively to fight back, but Orton is often wiser. Grabbing Ken to put his legs to dangle off the middle ring-rope and plant him with a DDT. JR: “This could be it, this could be enough, Anderson might be out!” Orton covers for One, Two – no, another kick-out, but the margin is getting closer. Orton slithers around the ring and pounds the canvas as he gets set to attempt an RKO. The crowd scream to try and warn Anderson and it works, he drops under the bottom rope and rolls to ringside for the moment. Anderson takes a breath to regroup, but it’s not long before Orton stalks him. Orton catches up with him, but Ken may have been playing possum. He grabs the Viper by the head and slams him off the announce table! The crowd get going again as Anderson rolls Orton into the ring. He stands at ringside to rub his elbow into Orton’s face. He climbs the apron, but Orton’s back up and it looks like he’s trying for his DDT again. Anderson counters however and performs a front suplex instead. He then quickly goes through the ropes to pin Orton like an accordion and Randy’s kicking his legs, but his shoulders are down ‘One!’  – Anderson’s got his feet on the ropes for leverage ‘Two!’, now he’s got the tights! ‘Three!’

Winner: Mr. Anderson.

Anderson wins! Anderson wins! What a comeback and what a way to become the new front runner to the Intercontinental Championship! Randy Orton gets up immediately and he is livid. He shouts at the referee telling him that Anderson had a handful of his tights to pin him. Anderson meanwhile has exited the ring and he’s halfway up the ramp. He raises his hand and the comms recap tonight’s main event. Regal says that the match could have gone either way and JR says that this is yet another controversial conclusion to a match related to the IC Gold. Regal: “Nonetheless, Mister Anderson is now set to challenge Christian Cage for the Intercontinental Title at Casino Warfare.” JR: “Indeed, but Randy Orton is incensed, he’ll have words with Edge next week I’m sure.” The comms wrap up and remind us to watch (read) Turmoil next week as Jericho and Angle will main event and we’ll continue on our route to KWF Casino Warfare.
